چکیده
Surface water quality assessment is an important component of environmental protection and sustainable development. In this study, 24 sampling sites were arranged in the Wanquan River area Hainan Island, China, 2021, nine indicators measured. The was assessed using single factor pollution index method Nemerow method; spatial distribution characteristics pollutants revealed, sources further analyzed analysis. results show that overall basin good, with average values all meeting China’s Class III standards. showed 29% no class, 38% slight 25% light 8% moderate class. clean category, 17% cleaner 42% category. analysis agricultural activities domestic sewage discharge are main pollution, nitrogen phosphorus being most factors affecting quality. This paper proposes several measures to reduce River, including improving activities, wastewater treatment, strengthening monitoring. findings have practical implications for reducing rivers lakes can provide a reference policy decisions related resource management protection.
